Independent Living Communities

Independent living communities feature a variety of options, from studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments and casitas. In most communities, there is 24-hour staffing and building security with staff keeping a watchful eye over residents.

In independent living communities, residents maintain their independence, living in a private suite, coming and going as they please, and making the choices that are right for them.

These communities do not offer health or nursing care or assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and medication management. As such they are not licensed through the state and don’t have regulatory oversight. Independent living communities can be perfect for seniors who are lonely or need meals provided but have no care needs.

Private pay ranges from $1500-6,000 per month.
